The bar graph provides data about the number of student application from 3 different universities divided to four faculties. (Biology, Engineering, Business and Social Work). The study was made from 1990 to 2010 in the United States. Overall, the highest application was from the Engineering department in 1990 and from the faculty of Business in 2010.
There has been a decreasing trend on the course of Biology with 3,000 enrollees in 1990 which declined to almost a thousand in 2010. This is the same with the Engineering department having the highest number of students of 4,000 in 1990 and gradually decreased to around 600 students in 2010.
While the previously stated courses reduced in the number of students the business and social work faculty experienced the opposite pattern. Business students came in 2000 people in 1990 and had increased tremendously in 2010 reaching it’s peak in 2010. In addition, Social work also showed an increasing pattern from 1000 students in 1990 and almost doubled in 2010.
