Overall, women’s expenditure is the highest, while boys’ spend on clothes the less comparing to other candidates. Additionally, spending in 1985 was lower than other years for boys, girls, men and women.
Starting with the young generation first, girls showed more interest in clothes’ purchasing throughout the period. The highest metric was in 2005 with about $180 per person. In 1995 and1985 it was less approximately by $20 per person each year. Reverse is true for boys: they spent the same figure for clothes in 1995 and 2005 with $160 per person. In 1985 spending was about $150 per person.
Men’s and women’s spending on clothes are much higher than teenagers’ spending. Women’s average metric shows upward trend. It picked in 2005 with the metric more than $600 per person, while in 1985 it was $500 and in 1995 around $530 per person. Men’s spending on clothes was fluctuated. They spent the most in 1995 and the least in 1985 with $300.
