The bar chart illustrates the percentage of people who exercised regularly across three age groups (18-29, 30-49, and 50+) in Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Australia in 2022.
Overall, the UK and Australia recorded higher proportions of people exercising regularly compared to Saudi Arabia. In addition, participation in exercise tended to decrease with age in all three countries.
In the 18-29 age group, Australia had the highest figure at 60%, followed closely by the UK at 55%. In contrast, Saudi Arabia recorded a much lower percentage of 35%. A similar trend can be seen among those aged 30-49, with 50% of Australians and 45% of people in the UK exercising regularly, compared to only 25% in Saudi Arabia.
Among the oldest group (50+), participation levels were the lowest overall. Australia still led with 40%, while the UK stood at 30%. Saudi Arabia showed the smallest proportion, with just 15% of people in this age group exercising on a regular basis.
