The bar chart illustrates the figure for the average number of puipils per class in primary schools and lower secondary schools in six various countries( South Korea, Japan, the UK, Mexico, Denmark and Iceland) compared to the world average in the year of 2006.
Overall, what stands out from the chart is that the average number of students of South Korea was higher in both, primary schools and lower secondary schools. In addition, primary schools was more than to lower secondary schools for the world in 6 different nations in the given year.
In terms of primary schools(age5-10), the average number of students was higher in South Korea and the opposite was true for Iceland, at almost 34 and 15, respectively. The number of children on each class in Mexico was around 21 while the figure was same for Denmark. In the UK was 23 students. Where’s, Japan and world average was similar figure for class Occupancy by 26 students in the stage of schools.
On the other hand in lower Secondary Schools (age 13-16)was highest in South Korea, at just over 36. Similarly, the same students was in Mexico and Japan, at nearly 31. In the students of Denmark and Iceland was allocated for about 19 and 16, respectively. The world average number of students was 24 and the UK was at nearly 23 students.
