The bar chart illustrates the expectations for changes in European youngsters in the following 20 years in five different aspects – health, air, water, food quality, and communication of humans. The figures are presented in percentages.
Overall, people’s communication is expected more likely to improve, whereas air quality is mostly projected to get worse.
In terms of future improvement, people’s communication skills stand at about 65%, making it the highest, followed by food quality, which contributes by just under 50%. By contrast, water, air quality, and health have the lowest proportions to improve, with health having a slightly higher share of over 40% than the other two aspects. Notably, air quality has the least percentage to improve in the future.
In terms of getting worse, air quality has the largest share of around 78%, which is followed by water quality, which makes up roughly 60% of becoming worse. Meanwhile, health and food quality have lower percentages of approximately 58% and just over 50%. Additionally, people’s communication has the least proportion at around 35%.
