Overall sales had the highest number of employees in both years – 180 000 in 2001 and 190 000 in 2008 while farming had the lowest – declining from 30 000 to 20 000
It’s noticeable that only accounting and farming workforce declined throughout the period, each losing 10 000 employees . Accounting fell from 90 000 in 2001 to 80 000 in 2008 while farming declined from 30000 to 20 000. Meanwhile computing and nursing saw a rise of employment. Computing had 100 000 workers in 2001 and 110 000 in 2008 while nursing labour force increased by 5000 over the years – from 40 000 in 2001 to 45 000 in 2008.
In summary sales had the dominant number of personnel while farming was the least chosen one among the jobs. Additionally almost all of the industries experienced rising in workforce except for farming and accounting which declined.
