The given charts combine a bar chart and a data table to illustrate how many non-domestic travelers visited XCountry and the amount of money was earned by several enterprises in XCountry yearly during the period between 2007 and 2008.
In general, the results for two respondents in 2007 were higher than that of 2008 all the time. Additionally, China & Japan and Hotel & Resort lost the top position on the lists, replaced by Australia and Restaurant, Bar & Souvenir shops, respectively.
Starting from the bar chart, it is clear that China & Japan were the most visited countries, with around 3 million tourists from diverse regions coming there to travel. However, the figure for them witnessed a downward trend in the following year, the number recorded being just over 2 million tourists. As a consequence, in 2008, with approximately 2.4 million tourists, the most loved country was Australia. Furthermore, the quantities of foreign travelers in Europe and US & Canada was nearly equal in 2007, about 2.1 million tourists. Surprisingly, US & Canada’s decrease in overseas visitor numbers was stronger than Europe’s and others’ after 1 year so that those two countries became the least common countries for overseas tourists.
Paying attention to the data table, it can be seen that there was a marked decrease in terms of Hotel & Resort’s revenue. Particularly, the level of earnings at Hotel & Resort saw a sevenfold decrease comparing to the previous year, just about merely 0.5 million dollars. Meanwhile, its counterpart at Restaurant, Bar & Souvenir shops diminished only two times after 1 year, from 2.4 million dollars dropped to 1.2 million dollars; thus, it levelled to the position of enterprise with the highest revenue in the year 2008. Ultimately, there were a significant decrease in the earnings of Transportation & Travel Agent and Tour Guides, Small Vendors, Other Services. They earned approximately 1.35 million dollars in 2007 and 0.75 million dollars in 2008, respectively and that is why they were enterprises with the lowest revenue during the survey time.
