The two charts illustrate the currently preference of young people, who are mainly classified into two age group: under 11 and 11-16, on the location and types of dances classes respectively in a town in Australia.
Firstly, there are four locations of dance classes introduced in the chart. By arranging them in case of the percentage distribution, private studios are the most attractive venue for youngers (48%), the followings are the respectively the school halls (24%), and community halls and other venue (18%). Simultaneously, the college-based studios are the least youngers chose to learn in, with only 10% in percentage.
Secondly, the population of three types of dance classes which are summarizing by two age groups (respectively are under 11 and from 11 to 16) are also provided. In the category of ballet, there are 600 of youngers under 11 are learning while 300 who age from 11 to 16 are learning. The total number of youngers who are learning in tap and modern are almost equal, both are ranging from 800 to 900 in total. However, the distribution of two age groups are in obviously different. In the category of tap, around 450 are under 11 and 420 are age from 11 to 16. Meanwhile, in the category of modern, 300 are under 11 and 520 are age from 11 to 16.
In conclusion, it is obvious that those Australian young people in the town who are attending are prominently learning dance in a private studios, and most of them choose to learn ballet, with approximately 900 students in total.
