The bar chart illustrates the percentage of New Zealands doing volunteer work for a few household types thus supporting sports organisations in this sphere. The pie chart presents information about how many people were working in different spheres while participating in charity activities. Both charts collect information about 2010.
In general, the biggest number of volunteers helped couples and dependent children. Additionally, the majority of the whole sport supporters were occupying coach, instructor or teacher professions.
Firsly, one parent/lone person household type was supported by the fewest 10.9% of sport organisations, which can be compared to the smallest group of people who worked in madical support or other (62.700 people) at the same time. In comperison, almost half of these volunteers were participating in assistance of couples with dependent children, what corresponds to the number of coaches, instructors or teachers who are over one quarter of all workers.
Moreover, 26.9% of sports organisations helped couples with no dependent children. It can be compared to either the group of scorers and timekeepers or committee members and administrators, which have slight differences in number of participants (128.000 and 158.600 accordingly).
