The chart illustrates the percentage of UK citizens who ate five portions of fruits and vegetables everyday from 2001 to 2008. Overall, the amount of females that consumes five portions of vegetables and fruits daily is significantly higher than males and kids every year.
Srarting from 2001 till 2003 the percentage of mens and childrens stayed consistent, with no change. Meanwhile, womens percentage grew noticeably from approximately 23% to 27%. However in 2004 percentage of males and kids started growing steadily, particularly the mens.
By contrast, womens consuming of fruits and vegetables fell slightly from 35% in 2006 to 30%in the next two years. And the ratio of kids peaked at 2007. To compare, percentage of womens definatelly dominates toward the percentage of kids,although percentage of mens are in between.
