The graph provided illustrates the percentage of different-sized companies that used social media for business purposes from 2012 to 2016. Small, medium, and large companies have completely distinctive dynamics.
Overall, it is visible that organisations reduced the percentage of using social media in the same year, while a year after there was a dramatic growth. From the beginning, only large corporations had a tendency to use technology.
According to the chart, in 2012, the percentage of small businesses using social media was approxiometly 27% and medium companies had a very similar tendency, around 32%; however, the large businesses were three times bigger, almost 80%. Over the next two years, medium-sized organisations were able to double their number to almost 50%, although large corporations did not face any changes. Even though all companies saw a sharp drop in 2015, their figures bounced back in 2016 and climbed to a new peak.
