The two maps show how the Riverside park has changed since 2010.
Overall, the central area of the park has undergone substantial changes, two of which are the enhancement in amenities and integration of cycle paths to the north along the river.
In 2010, the east of the park featured stations on either side, which was connected by railway track. Heritage railway located at the northern edge, while a river and a substantial vegetation in the lower-left corner. The central area was surrounded by walking path in circular shape, encompassing toilets and parking facilities situated toward the right side.
Since then, there have been noticeable changes. The cycle route, which run from the north to the south, has been established adjacent to the river. The walking path retains its loop structure but now integrates an inclusive area equipped with swings, a café and hotels, catering to families and children. The parking area has been expanded, while the toilets maintained their original positions. However, the eastern side has not been subject to change and remained consistent.
