The rendered bar graph delineates the information about the rural share of poverty from 1993 to 2002, while the rural and urban areas share of poverty in 2002 has been depicted by the given pie chart.
At a fleeting glance, it is evident that the highest share of poverty was 90% in East Asia & Pacific in the given both years, whilst the lowest share of Latin America & Caribbean around more than 40%. It is surprising to note that South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa shared equal percent of poverty share, at a value of less than 80%. It also implies that in the first year, poverty share followed a plummet trend until two different areas, such as Europe and Latin America shares stayed constant, respectively.
By probing further, it is vivid that the proportion of rural area share was 76% ;however, 24% share was given to urban areas in 2002. It is noticeable that the second maximum shares were given to Middle East, followed by South Asia and other areas.
Thus, from the overall analysis ,it can be extrapolated that the large discrepancies are witnessed in the given bar graph and pie chart during the given period.
