Overall, It is clear that Japan and German students spend most of their time studying, while UK pupils prefer to sleep more on the weekdays. It is also worth noting that relaxing is the least popular activity in all three nations.
With regard to studying, 13 hours of Japanese students’ are devoted to this, which is the highest number among all categories. By contrast, the hours for the UK and Germany stand at 8 and 9 hours, respectively.
An opposite trend can be seen regarding sleeping. While around one-third of the daily time is devoted by Germans to this activity, UK and Japan’s pupils tend to spend 8,5 and 8 hours, respectively.
As for the amount of time allocated to relaxing, Japan has the lowest rate, with 4 hours – 3% lower than that of Germany and the UK.
