In contrast, Germany and Spain show considerably lower figures. Germans travel about 9,000 km annually, while Spaniards record slightly under 9,000 km, making these the lowest among the six countries shown.
The EU average stands at 10,000 kilometres, meaning that Denmark, France, Italy and the UK are all above the regional benchmark, whereas Germany and Spain fall below it.
