Overall, it can be seen that a car use rose over the period, while the figures for bike and walking by foot showed a decline. The figures for bus fluctuated throughout the period.
Looking at the details, over 5% of travellers used car in 1960, which is the smallest figure among other transports. However, in 1980 the proportion of people used car as a transport increased by nearly 25%. The figures continued to rose before reached slightly 35% in 2000, which is the highest figure compared to other transports.
However, the numbers for bike and by foot declined. In 1960, the percentage of bike usage accounted for 25%, after it showed decline by 20%, before the numbers reached only 5%. Similarly, people used to walk by foot more in 1960, by nearly 35%. However, in 2000, the figueres showed approximately 10%, expressing the considerable decline.
With regard to bus, the fugures fluctuated over the period. Over 15% of travellers used in 1960, before its numbers rose to 25%. In 2000, the bus usage declined by over 10%.
