The bar graph shows the prorortion of owned and rented accomodations in Saint Petersburg over a 40-year period, from 1980 to 2020.
Overall, it can be seen that trend of owning accommodation become popular, while the number of rented accommodations fell sharply. By the end of 2020 it is noticeable that having a house is dominant style of owning a property.
In 1980 70% of households owned were rented. At the other hand, only 30% were owned. After 10 years the trend of having an accomodation instead of renting started to show up. Percentage of owned households rose steadily, while number of rented declined slighty. In the year 2000 the number of owned accomodation overtook the number of rented. Now the number of owned property was 60% and 40% for the rented.
After the next 10 years period number of owned household rose slightly to 70% and rented dropped to 30%. The dominance owned poverty showed in 2020 taking 80% of whole households
