The pie chart gives the information about the global forest in five different regions namely South America, Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. The data is calibrated in percentage.
Overall, it can be seen that Africa had highest percentage of world forest among five different regions, while Asia had highest percentage of timber among all other regions.
With regards to world forest, Africa had highest portion of forests which was around more than a quarter of total forest of the world, whereas Asia had least forest among all regions which was around more than a tenth. Both South America and Europe had more or less similar percentage of world forests which was around less than a fifth. Moreover, North America had approximately a quarter of world forest of total percentage of global forest.
Turning to wood in each regions, North America had highest number of timber which was around less than a third, whereas Africa has least percentage of wood which was pproximately less than a tenth.South America had completely oppostie to world forest percentage, it had highest percentage of timber among other five regions which was around nearly a quater. Both Asia and Europe had similar percentage of timber which was around less than a fifth and a fifth respectively.
