The bar graph and line graph illustrates the number of people who have participated in the Olympic since the initial year of the ceremony. Overall, the bar graph specifically provides the information about how many male and female have taken part in the year 1924, 1952, 1984 and 2012 while the line graph shows the total number of applicants throughout the same years.
The number of man participants increased gradually from around 3000 in the year 1924 to approximately 6000 in 2012, which is two times from the origin. Similarly a dramatic rose in number of women participants can be witnessed in the same years. In 1924, only about 100 women took part in the occasion. However, almost 5000 women took part in the year 2012, which is roughly 500 times than the opening year.
The status in line graph also shows the growth in numbers of total members. The number of participants started from nearly 4000 and steadily expanded until the 1984. In the year 2012, it experienced the remarkable rose of participants.
