Overall, while there is a moderate rise of the trend in the past, the projection shows a modest decline pace. Thereafter, the percentages experienced a notable growth.
The number of populations in 1950 started only at 84.1 then climbed modestly to 127.8 after the next five decades and a half. Whereas, from 2010 to 2015 the value declined constantly to just 125.4. This trend is then predicted to continue deteriorating in the following two decades, at only 110 and 89.9, respectively.
In contrast, the percentages of individuals aged 65 years or over increased by 15.9% between 1950 and 2005. After which, the predicted figure of population in 2055 is less than that of in 2035; however, its value of percentage is still significant growth, subsequently at 34.0% and 41.0%.
