The pie charts illustrate various types of waste disposed in a country in the years 1960 and 2011 in terms of percentage.Overall, it is clear that the amount of paper disposed accounted for almost a quarter in the year 2011, making it the most type of waste that was thrown out. Meanwhile wood was the least disposed waste. However, after around half a decade, food was disposed the most. On the other hand, other types of waste were the least disposed.
In 1960, plastic became more disposed after roughly half a decade with an increase of 10 percent. Furthermore, food’s disposal increased by 9 percent while wood became disposed by double the amount.
By 2011, paper became the lowest disposed waste decreasing by 10 percent. In addition textiles and other waste became less disposed by 8 percent down for both respectively. Metal’s disposal went down by only a percent across the period. In contrast, glass and green waste remained the same.
