The charts compare various waste disposed of one country in 1960 and 2011. Overall, the proportion of disposed waste types experienced different share in this period. Paper and food were the common type of waste in both years, with plastic became next high used product in 2011.
In 1960, the paper disposal dominated with 25% waste disposal. Following this, textiles ranked the second place with 17%. Food and other type of product waste accounted for 12% for each. However, other waste disposal, including green waste, metal and plastic experienced less share between 8 and 9%. The least waste type were wood and glass with 4% ad 5% respectively.
By 2011, this figures saw a different trend. Food disposal and plastic experienced a growth, increasing to 21% and 18% respectively, becoming the largest disposal types. However, paper diposal decreased to 15%. It was followed by textiles which dropped to 1%. While glass and green waste was responsible for 5% and 9% respectively the same as in 1960, wood and metal was responsible 8% and 9% . other waste products decreased to 4%.
