The bar graph illustrates the quantity of employed Australians in five occupations in 2001 and 2008.
Overall, accountants and farmers saw a marginal downward trend, whereas the other counterparts witnessed the contrary. In comparison, the most employed field was sales, while the least was farming.
Looking at the chart more closely, one can see that the amount of salesmen dominated the chart with the most workers at approximately 160,000 in both years. Despite the fact that the number of nurses was equal to computer technicians at around 50,000 people in 2001, there were neglectable differences between their upward trends in 2008, where computing went over 60,000 employees, nursing was still hoping to reach that milestone.
On the other hand, while ranking at the second place in the beginning, accounting services declined minimally, from 60,000 in 2001 to slightly lower that number in 2008. A similar trend occurred to farmers, as it roughly accounted for 20,000 individuals regardless of a small downfall at the end of the timespan.
