The bar chart reports the primary exports situation including international tourism, dairy and meat products in Scotland in 2000 and 2024 and foreseen estimates for 2025.

Overall, international tourism is predicted to be the leading export sector, followed by dairy products. However, meat products exports are expected to decrease over time.

To begin with, the international tourism exports’ figures had the highest revenue during three periods. In 2020,it crossed 8 billion pounds and then reached a peak at nearly 9 million pounds in 2024. This trend is forecasted to be continued in 2025. In contrast, the meat products field gained the least revenue. There is a regression in the meat products sector performance over time. In 2024, it gained 5.5 billion pounds which is 0.5 lower than that of in 2000. Predictors supposed the number will continue dropping to 5 billion pounds in 2025.

Although the two sectors mentioned above have a stable trend, the dairy products segment shows a fluctuation. From 2000 to 2024, the figure rose from nearly 7 billion pounds to a peak of 10 billion pounds. However, future projection for 2025 illustrates that there is a further drop to 9.5 billion pounds in this export field.
