The line graph illustrates the hours taken to produce vehicles by four different american based companies :(Nissan ,DC ,GM , Ford) , it is mesaured between 1998 untill 2002 .

Overall, for the most period of time it was reached when producing nissan car on 1998 with 37 hour , while the same company had the least production time with 21 hours, we can notice the linear decrease for the Genral motors (GM) production time over the year which is quite similar to what happened with nissan except that it was not Fully linear. Ford company was the only one that marks increase at the number of hours at the beggining and ended up reducing the nedded time , which was the case for all the four compines . DC marked three critical phases , decreasing one at first then a noticable rose at hours number then as all the other do it managed to reduce production effors.

Starting with Nissan and despite having the highest production time by 37 hour , they managed to reduce the work and reach the best achived time by 21 hour, at the other side. Nissan started by 34 hours and managed to reduce it during one year befor slightely increasing again to almost 33 in 2001 and then taking it down again to 29 hour by the end of 2001. Ford company was the only exception that did not managed to reduce it production time but increased it to reach almost 27 hour.
