Overall, in both years people from 35 to 64 represented the majority of donations, while the least number of donors complied by age group from 18 to 24. There was a slight increase in donors from 50 to 65 and over age, whereas 25 to 49 age groups in charitable organizations saw an approximate decline of 5 percentage. Conversely, the youngest age groups was the only number of donors that significantly plunged during this perios.
In detail, Canadian donors from 35 to 49 comprised approximately 40% in 2000, reducing to about 35% by 2015. Likewise, the age range from 25 to 34 decreased by approximately 5%, going from around 35% in the first year to 25% in the final year. The member of charitable organization from 18 to 24 experienced a significant down, by halving from 20% in 2000 to about 10% by 2015.
