The bar chart compares average depth of snow recorded at a Canadian ski resort from November to April over three different years.
Overall, snow depth rose steadily from November to February in all three years, with the highest levels recorded between February and April. While Years One and Two followed a similar pattern, Year Three experienced lower figures across the entire period and showed an earlier decline.
In November, snow depth was relatively consistent, ranging from about 90 cm to just over 110 cm. This increased gradually in December and January before rising dramatically in February. During this month, snow depth reached approximately 440 cm in Year One and 400 cm in Year Two, compared to 350 cm in Year Three. In March, Year One reached its peak at around 450 cm, whereas Year Two continued to increase and recorded its highest point of nearly 470 cm in April. By contrast, snow levels in Year Three peaked earlier and declined steadily to 300 cm by April.
