The line graphs illustrate the changes in proportion of ownership of electrical machines and how much time people spent on doing housework in a specific country from 1920 to 2019.
Overall, the usage of electrical machines increased throughout the period. Consequently, the amount of time people doing housework declined gradually during this time.
Starting at a rate of 0 in 1920, washing machines experienced sharp rise in 1940 and 1960 respectively, and remained stable from 1960 to 2019. For Vaccum cleaner, the proportion rate inclined gradually over the whole period. The percentage of owners of refrigerator started at 40 and then reached at 70 in 1960. Surprisingly, it saw a slight drop in 1980 before returning to upward trend.
