The line graph gives information about the use of three electrical appliances and period of time was spent on households doing domestic charces in one country over the almost hundred years.
The number of hours spent on domestic work at the beginning of the period was the most highest, while the percentages of use electrical appliances such as washing machine, refrigerator and vacuum cleaner were in their lowest percent.
In the 1920 hours spent on housework per week was almost 50. The percentages of using refrigerator was the lowest at the beginning of the period, while other 2 appliances washing machine and vacuum cleaner were 40% and 30 % respectively. By contrast, in 1940 almost all appliances have seen rise being over 50 % and below 60 %. However the hours spent on housework decreased for almost 13 hours per week.
In the 1960 the refrigerator overtook the other 2 appliances for 90 % and after 20 years reached its highest point 100%. The vacuum cleaner sow a rise over the period shown and reached its peak in 2000 and remained stable, only the washing machine sow some fluctuation over the period and by 2019 was used for approximately 65 % in domestic chorces. The dramatic decrease sow the hours spent on housework per week over the 99 years which was it’s lowest by the 2019 with slightly over 10 hours.
