The pie charts illustrate different kinds of energy production in France between 1995 and 2005.
Overall, in both years, coal and gas accounted for over half of all energy production, while the last one was other energy sources. There were only minimal increases in production coal and gas. However, other energy sources were the most raised energy production. Petrol was the only energy source to decrease over the period.
Gas energy production reached from 29.63 % to 30.31% over the year. Coal also showed almost the same increases, jumped from 29.80 % to 30.93 %. The use of nuclear power rose significantly from 6.40 % in 1995 to 10.10 % in 2005. Likewise, the amount of energy generated by other sources of energy went up by approximately 5 % from 4.90% in the first year to 9.10 % by the final year.
Petrol, on the other hand, only decreased energy sources, which is almost halved produced 29.27% in the first year, but over the past 10 year it decreased to 19.55%
