Overall, there was decline in prices in most of the cities from 1995 to 200 in comparison to prices in 1989. While there was clear incline in the cost of houses in most of the cities from 1996 to 2000.
Moving towards the specifics, in comparison to 1989 selling chagres, the prices increased slightly in Madrid (roughly 2%) and specifically in Frankurt (almost 2.5%), however, there was a sharp slump in the cost of houses in Tokyo and London, which was around -7.5%, from 1990 to 1995. Similarly, New York also had fall in prices to -5%.
While comparing it to the prices from 1996 to 2000, London had a significant upward trend, hitting the peak of about 12%. There was a considerable rise of 5 and nearly 4% in terms of New York and Madrid, respectively. A minimal increase is evident in the prices in Fankurt. Exceptionally, Tokyo was the only city experiencing a marked decline to -5%.
