The chart portrays information about the transport sector’s fuel consumption in Europe countries like Slovakia, Italy, France, Austria, Spain and Greece compared to the EU average in the years 2009 and 2010. Overall, Slovakia had seen to have the highest fuel used in both years while Greece was noted to have the least usage in both years as well.
In 2009, Slovakia had increased its utilization of petrol to almost 30% compared to the average 60% consumption while Austria fell behind the average by 9% followed by Italy at 13%. On the other hand, France and Spain were of the same level at 39% respectively while Greece had the lowest percentage at 12%.
Still in 2010, Slovakia remains the top consumers with 13% rise above the average which is 50% followed by Italy and Austria with 2% hike respectively. However, France falls below the average at 41% followed by Spain at 30% while Greece still remains the lowest at 20%.
