The provided diagram illustrates data about male and female proportions in England who lived alone in 2011. It is clear from the illustration that women are inclined to live alone at all ages. However, men are also prone to it until around a half of their lives.
Amount of men in age group from 16 to 24 living in solitude equals to just over a half of 100%. Whereas, in the next group where ages differ from 25 to 34 their number raises by roughly 10%. Hence, women proportions in the same age category are just under a half and approximately 35% relevantly.
Furthermore, their ratio is identical when both genders are from 50 to 64. In elderly years women live alone more often than men. For instance the highest amount of them leaving by themselves is when they are 85 and over, it is significant majority, almost 75%. The age group which is one before it showed almost the same result
