The bar chart compares men and women in US on the basis of how many students attend in different types of subjects during in 2010.
Overall, 3 out of 6 subjects were dominated by US males while women engaged more in marketing and accounting subject. Notably, both genders were more involved in finance subjects in the question and they making up equal.
Starting with categories that showing men-dominated gaps between genders, clearly 200 number of men studying math, almost 4 times less that of women, the number of women in math representing 55 students. Spending less time to engineering showed the similar trend where male outnumbered their counterparts by 2 students at 53 women, making in the lowest studied for both genders. Studying an economics subject was also relatively more popular among men and registering it 75 members of women and men doubled of their rates.
Moving on to the categories with showing female benefits gender discrepancy, women studied the marketing more compared with men respectively just over 120 and under 80 members. Accounting was second most popular subjects among women, standing at 200 members and the number of male figure was not inferior to their, its making up 170 students. The most popular and last subject is finance and both gender showed proportional number namely 230 students.
