The bar chart gives information about age groups when hearing loss starts for men and women in USA. Overall, percentage of hearing lose of both gender generally increased until the middle age. Females loss their hearing function faster in old age, while the reverse was true for their counterparts. However, females were dominated by males in the middle stage of adulthood

Regarding females, from the first two groups, female outnumbered males with under 5% in ( 5 or under age ) and also to approximately 13% in 6-19 age group. However, the percentage of females was on its peak in 40-59 age group (with under then 35%) . From that point, the number of woman who lose their hearing started to decrease and pointed more then 15% percents in group with 70 yearls old or over.

In terms of males, the youngest group from 5 and under started their increasing pattern from lowest poing (2,5%). Than from the age of 20-39 it started to outnumbering their opposite gender, and reached its peak (with more then 30% in 40-59 years old group) . By contrast, males age group from 60 to 70 or more yearls old lost their hearing function less then their counterparts.
