Overall, full-time employees had the least free time, whereas unemployed and retired people enjoyed almost twice as much leisure time. Besides, men consistently enjoyed more leisure time than women in the categories where figures were available for both genders.
According to employed full time status, men had approximately 45 hours to enjoy their leisure time, while women were lower, just recording in nearly 40 hours. By contrast, unemployed and retired employees had a similar trend of enjoying free time, which were the highest figures on the chart. Males were recorded around 85 hours, while females were lower, just about nearly 80 hours for rest. This indicates that men had around 10 more hours of leisure time per week than women in every category where data for both sexes appeared.
As for the categories where only female statistics were shown, women worked part time had the lowest number of hours of leisure time among 2 sectors, just accounted for around 40 hours, slightly more than those employed full time. Housewives reported a considerably higher indicator of about 50 hours per week.
