The bar chart compares the amount of money people spent on six types of consumer goods in three different countries in Europe for the year 2015.
It is clear that the highest amount of money was spent on smartphones and laptops in each country. By contrast, the amount of money spent on CDs was lowest in the three countries.
In terms of smartphones, consumer expenditure was higher in Germany than Italy and Spain, at almost 138000, 136000 and 120000 pounds,respectively. People of Germany also spent more money on books and toys, at 110000 pounds individually. The amount of money spent on perfumes was 100000 pounds in Germany, which was almost 20000 and 15000 pounds more than that of Italy and Spain over the year of 2015.
On the othere hand, spending on the rest of the items was higher in Italy and Spain. Italian’s expenditure on laptops was higher, at over 130000 pounds than Germany and spain, at 130000 and 105000 pounds, consecutively. The amount of money spent on CDs was 40000 pounds in Spain, which was highest, compared to 38000 pounds in Italy and 30000 pounds in Germany during the year of 2015.
