The three pie charts depict that the average percentage of typical meals consumed in a day with different types of nutrients like sodium, saturated fats and added sugar which turn unhealthy if eaten too much. This data is collected from the USA.
Nowadays, people preferring ready made foods because of their busy schedule as they have to rush to there offices or send kids to the school. For example people are eating in breakfast like bread or buns with sweetened spreads. Chips and cool drinks as their snacks. Which contains an average of sodium 14% saturated fats 16%-21% and sweeteners up to 16%- 42%.
In addition, working individual prefer which are readily available as their lunch and dinner. However packaged items have sodium 29%- 43%, fats 26%-37%, and calories 19%-23% which can effect the health. For example, one of my friend moved to abroad for further studies, and also doing a part time job so he don’t get much time to cook and he started eating frozen food after sometime his health was affected because of food poisoning.
In conclusion, package food are relaying but we cant consume them on a regular basis rather than we can eat fruits and boiled vegetables as our meals which are way healtheir than stored food.
