Presented for analysis is a bar chart delineating thhe changes in the destinations of Australian students graduating from Physics and Art as recorded in 2007, measured in percentage.
Overall, it can be observed that the figures for employment were the highest in both Physics and Arts , whereas the opposite side was true for working and studying. It can also worth highlighting that the percentage of students graduating from Physics were all higher than those from Art in each destinations.
This analysis will commence with the larger disparities. In terms of employment, the proportion of students graduating from Art and Physics was 25% and 35%, compared to unemploment destination, whose figures were only 10% in Art and 15% in Physics. Regarding further study and training, its number accounted for 15% in Art and 20% in Physics.
Attention will now turn to the smaller gap. As far as working and studying was concerned, students didn’t seem to be interested in that destination, as the figures were just 5% and approximately 7% in Art and Physics, respectively. In contrast, the number of students choosing other options were relatively dominant, with 16% in Art and roughly 20% in Physics.
