Overall, further study was the most popular destination among both graduates and postgraduates, while voluntary work was the least common choice.
Continuing education was the most popular pathway for both groups, However, the figure for graduates was substantially higher, at around 30,000, compared with only about 2,700 postgraduates. Then, around 2,535 UK postgraduates entered for part-time work, making it the second most common choice. Similarly, UK graduates also ranked part-time work as their second most common post-graduation choice, with around 17,735 students.
A considerable gap was observed between graduates and postgraduates in voluntary work, with the former recording around 3,500 students, while the latter recorded a much lower figure of around 345. The least popular destination among both groups was voluntary work, with the figure for graduates standing at around 3,500, considerably higher than that for postgraduates, at just 345.
