The chart illustrates the frequency of exercise of 3 age groups, namely 18-40 year olds, 41-60 year olds and 60 year olds and more.
It is a no surprise that 18-40 year olds are generally more active than the other two groups. Every four in ten 18-40 year olds exercise multiple times per week, the number of 41-60 year olds that exercise multiple times per week is 35% and two in ten 60 plus year olds work out multiple times per week.
Additionally, one in every ten 18-40 year olds exercise daily, the same figure for 41-60 year olds is one in twenty and less than 5% of 60 plus year olds exercise daily. Surprisingly, the figure is the same for 18-40 years that never exercise as those that exercise daily. About 15% of 41-60 year olds never exercise which is the most of the 3 groups and approximately 5% of 60 plus year olds never exercise.
Moreover, 20% of 18-40 year olds exercise once per week whereas twice as much,40%, of 60 plus exercise once per week. 25% of 41-60 year olds exercise once per week.
In conclusion, it is understood that 18-40 years are generally more energetic so they live a more active lifestyle than the other two groups.
