Overall, Iran had the highest number of people accessing the internet in June 2017, where it surpassed all the other countries combined, excluding Saudi Arabia and Iraq, which came in the second and third places, respectively. Internet usage was similar in Yemen, Israel, Jordan, and Syria, while Lebanon had the lowest number of internet users.
In June 2017, 56.7 million Iranian used the internet. These are more users than those of UAE, Yemen, Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon combined, where the sum amounted to nearly 38 million users. Saudia Arabia took the second place and Iraq came third, where 24.15 and 14 million users accessed the internet in the two countries, respectively.
The numbers of users in Yemen, Israel, Jordan, and Syria were very similar and revolved around 6.5 million users. Finally, only 4.6 million people used the internet in Lebanon, which is the least number among the recorded countries.
