The bar graph compares the water levels in different reservoirs in different cities of Australia on October 9 and October 10.
Overall, the water levels in Canberra, Darwin, Melbourne, and Brisbane increased to varying extents, whereas the level in Perth halved. Notably, Brisbane recorded the highest final level, while Perth finished the period with the lowest. By contrast, the water level in Sydney remained unchanged.
Focusing on the reservoirs where the water level rose, Brisbane showed the greatest rise. Starting at 75%, the level subsequently increased to a staggering 100%. Although Darwin started at the same level as Brisbane, it exhibited a modest rise to 80% by October 10. Melbourne followed a similar pattern, though more noticeably. The water level stood at 35%, after which it climbed marginally to 45%. The water level in Canberra started at 50%, and this was followed by an increase of 23 percentage points, reaching 73% by October 10.
