Overall, Linguistics, English & literature, and communication & Media observed a mass number of students enrolled, while the three remaining courses such as Philosophy, History, and Art & Design proved to be less appealing curriculums.
In 2011, Communication and Media had chosen by the most substantial figure of UK male students, which accounted for 265 men and just only 210 women. Comparing to English and Literature, had attracted the highest number of female students, with 225 women and 250 men.
This was followed by Linguistics, which had 240 males and 190 females.
Turning to three remaining objects, the statistic of students enrolling in Art & Design was significant higher than History & Archaeology, comprising 160 males and 175 females, that compared with 120 and 90 respectively. Notably, there were a big disparity in UK gender composition that involved in Philosophy, with 150 men and 50 women.
