Looking at the details, even though not only the number of visitors in Kennedy raised about two times and reached 48 million until 1997, but it also happened in the same way for Newark by absorbing almost 40 million. Afterwards, the first mentioned airport encountered a fluctuation and at the end it reached about 47 million passengers. It is worthy to be mentioned that Newark attracted tourists more than double of its primary amount until 1998 and it remained stable for the last two years. Laguardia experienced a gradual growth during the period by increasing from 35 million to around 70 million passengers.
