Overall, what stands out is that while LaGuardia and Newark airports showed only upward trends there was a slight decrease in John F. Kennedy airway, of particular note is that other two airports could not overtake LaGuardia airport which always was the highest.
Looking at the LaGuardia first, nearly 35 million of people used these airway to fly in 1995, coming to 1997 slightly rose about 42 millions, after which minimally increased around 48 millions, and hit 50 millions in 1999 however it sharply grow and reached almost 68 millions of users without any downward trend.
Turning to John F. Kennedy, which started with nearly 25 millions in 1995, coming to 1997 it showed increase and hit about 45 millions, then for the next two years showed downward trend and decreased almost to 35 millions, then fell about 32 millions, in the last year rose and hit 45 millions. Looking in details Newark, which had the lowest numbers just under 20 millions, then rocketed by 48 millions in 1997, in contrast it could overtake John F. Kennedy airway and reached almost 42 millions in the last two years didn’t show any trends and stocked at 42 millions in 1999 and 2000 years.
