Subsequently, a zigzag trend appeared for the total tourists, with two decline and one increase period of time, ultimately ending with 504300 visitors. In addition, the number of adult visitors witnessed a slight increase in 2002 and a substantial rise in 2007, peaking at 400500 people. This figure then declined and finished at 380000 visitors, still becoming the highest figure. Additionally, people under 15 visited the museum less over time, declining gradually from 120000 to 82300 people. By contrast, that category for special exhibition visitors rose moderately from 28000 to 42000 but still remained the lowest.
