The bar chart compares the percentage of adults of various age groups using the Internet between 2003 and 2006, in Great Britain.
It is clear that the main customers of the Internet were young adults aged between 16-24 years. In 2003 and 2004 the users of data were at the same stage at four-fifths, and it was significantly increased to 100% in the next year, which was slightly decreased in 2006 at 90%. And over the period young adults were the highest customers of the Internet.
In terms of the bar chart, we can see that all over the age groups pupil were using data regularly is concerned. In the 25-44 age group, there was a gradual growth in the percentage of half in 2003, but it was 5% increased in 2004, it was peak of 80% from 50%, a massive increased over the period of 25-44 age group customers. There were similar increases for the 45-54 age groups customers, rising 60% to 80% over the 3-years period. As for the other two age groups there was although the percentage had minor fluctuation, the overall trend was upward.
Overall, adults between 16 and 44 showed the greatest usage of the Internet and the customers grew with time regardless of their age.
