The bar chart gives information about the rate of a number of different activities among females and males in England. Overall, while watching TV and spending time with family are the most dominant leisure activities for both genders, playing games by computer is the least popular activity. In addition, the ratio of men to women is higher in almost all activities, except for spending time with family and shopping.
It can be seen from the figures, watching TV constantly holds the highest amount of time in England, peaking at over 75% for both genders. Moreover, the second highest is spending time with their family, which is 77% for women and 75% for men. The rate of reading is similar to the rate of exercise for both boys and girls, with figures reaching 72% and 70%, respectively.
In contrast, other activities including shopping, using the internet and playing computer games have a significant ratio in different genders. Playing computer games is the lowest activity that people like, with about under 25%. Furthermore, the amount of time that males devote to using the internet is double that of females, and the opposite is true in the case of the rate of shopping.
