Overall, the highest percentage of men in executive positions was recorded in category A, while the lowest proportion of men was seen in category E. By contrast, the highest percentage of women was found in category E, whereas the lowest figure for women was observed in category A in the given year.
At the beginning of the data, the percentage of men in category A stood at 90%, while women accounted for just over 10% of positions in this category in 1995. A similar pattern can be seen in category B, where approximately 70% of executive posts were occupied by men, compared to just 25% by women. In category C, male employment fell to below 60%, whereas women made up about 40% of the workforce in the same year.
Regarding the remaining categories, in category D men and women accounted for around 45% and almost 55% respectively. In particular, category E showed that fewer than 25% of executive positions were held by men. Moreover, women were appointed to approximately 75% of roles in the same company over the same period.
